Electrical Safety Inspection
PLUS bonus Corded Blind Safety Inspection included FREE
What does it include:
-Visual, polarity and earthing checks of appliances and electrical points in compliance with ASNZ 3019 (2022) Section 4
-Check all landlord supplied Electrical Appliances in the property
-Thorough inspection of the switchboard to ensure it is compliant with Australian rental standards
-Confirm RCD's (safety switches) are installed and fully operational
-Manually trip RCD to ensure safe and effective operation
-Free replacement of up to 2 faulty or damaged RCD's, standard light switches or standard power points *
-Additional minor non-compliant items fixed immediately on the spot to ensure instant certification, up to the pre-approved amount *
-Comprehensive report with photos provided, detailing all works completed alongside a description of any faults requiring further rectification, our recommendations and quote if applicable
-In the event of an identified fault which is later rectified by a third party, we will attend upon request and re-test for no additional charge.

Smoke Alarm Safety Inspection
PLUS bonus Corded Blind Safety Inspection included FREE
What does it include:
-Inspection and all work completed by an A-Grade Electrician
-Decibel level, compliant placement and damage check of existing alarms
-Replace unlimited smoke alarm batteries as required
-Free replacement of up to 2 faulty or expired smoke alarms (including hardwired). Additional necessary alarms will be replaced and charged as per the pricing below, up to the pre-approved amount *
-No Emergency call-out fee - if an alarm is beeping for no apparent reason, and we have attended the property in the last 12 months to check smoke alarms, we will return to rectify the issue for no additional charge
-Comprehensive report with photos provided, detailing all works completed alongside a description of any faults requiring further rectification, our recommendations and quote if applicable
-Electrical Compliance Certificate provided as required

Corded Blind Safety Inspection
What does it include:
-All window covers inspected for safety compliance
-Window clips or cleats installed for corded window coverings where necessary - unlimited clips / cleats included
-Excess or non-compliant cords removed or secured
-Comprehensive report with photos provided, detailing all works completed alongside a description of any faults requiring further rectification, our recommendations and quote if applicable

Electrical Inspection Fitting Inclusions
Inclusive of up to two replacements of faulty or damaged RCD's, standard classic light switches or power points. Additional fitting replacements will incur the following charges:
- Standard classic light switch $10
- Standard classic power point $10
- RCD $40
- Non-standard fittings will be quoted at the time of inspection.
Smoke Alarm Inspection Fitting Inclusions
Inclusive of up to two smoke alarms replaced per property (9V battery or Hard-wired). Additional smoke alarm replacements will incur the following charges:
- 9V battery smoke alarm $20
- Hard-wired smoke alarm $40
- Brand new hard-wired smoke alarm connections requiring additional wiring will be quoted at the time of inspection.
Pre-Approved Compliance Fixes Up to Agreed Amount
To prevent renter disruption and tedious administrative back-and-forth over minor faults, any necessary rectifications discovered during an inspection (which aren't already covered by the above listed free fitting inclusions) may be automatically approved and fixed immediately on the spot up to a pre-agreed cap ($100 inc. GST by default unless another amount has been nominated in writing) if the rectifications are instantly required to bring the property up to Victorian compliance standards.
If a required repair or fitting replacement will incur a charge higher than the pre-approved amount, we will issue a detailed, itemized, and completely obligation-free quote directly to the Property Manager for Rental Provider approval before any further work is undertaken, or alternatively we will supply our detailed professional recommendations which can be taken to a third party electrician or window furnishing specialist.
